Meg Panichelli

Department: Undergraduate Social Work

I am currently an Associate Professor entering my 7th year at WCU and since the first day I started at West Chester in this role, I have been curious and excited about serving on CAPC. My experience with curricular revision, development, and creation comes primarily from participating in our departmental curriculum assessment and revision processes to ensure that we are meeting the educational competencies set by our accrediting institution, the Council of Social Work Education. I value the opportunity that serving on CAPC provides to ensure a quality liberal arts-based education for our students and look forward to the possibility of participating on a committee that is so central to meeting the varied needs of our students to grow as learners and engaged citizens.
