Rules for the Election
- Faculty from the Department of Accounting cannot be nominated for this election since that department has continuing representation on the committee.
- Each department can have at most one
representative on the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee.
- The election is decided by a plurality
of those casting votes unless such results violate the previous rules or
the number of candidates does not exceed the number of
positions to fill. In the later case, each candidate will be
voted on by an approve/disapprove ballot.
- Each candidate selected counts as a cast vote.

Department: Economics and Finance I am honored to submit my nomination for the CBPM rep on the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee. Having served on this committee for the past three years, I have gained a deep understanding of its processes and responsibilities. Throughout my tenure, I have consistently ensured that all sabbatical applications are evaluated fairly and equitably, giving each candidate's proposal the careful consideration it deserves. I take great pride in upholding the integrity of this important service commitment, recognizing the significant impact that sabbaticals have on faculty professional development and the overall advancement of our university. I remain dedicated to contributing my experience, knowledge, and passion to the continued success of this committee and the faculty it serves.
