Department: Communication Sciences and Disorders I am excited to submit my nomination as the College of Health Sciences representative in Faculty Senate at WCU. I am a new Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders beginning fall 2024. Prior to earning my Ph.D., I served as a consultant and advocate in special education classrooms serving students with autism and other developmental disabilities in the Philadelphia area. I would love to serve as an advocate for faculty and students at WCU in a meaningful way and to represent the College of Health Sciences in Faculty Senate.

Department: Kinesiology- College of Health Sciences Please consider voting for me as the Senator for the College of Health Sciences on the Faculty Senate. For the past three years, I have served as a proxy, attending nearly every meeting and proxying for Senators on numerous occasions. My commitment to the Faculty Senate is unwavering, and I would be honored to expand my service in this role. The Faculty Senate plays a vital role in WCU’s shared governance, advocating for institutional and educational policies and addressing key matters that impact campus climate and the well-being of our university community. I would be grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these efforts and would love to serve in this capacity. Thank you!
