Department: Public Policy and Administration I have had the honor of serving as TEP Chair, and tremendously appreciate – and am humbled by – the opportunity to serve our campus community. I welcome the opportunity to continue my service as a representative for the College of Business and Public Management on the Tenure and Promotion Committee. I have experience successfully working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and understand the variety of approaches in teaching, research and service in fulfillment of WCU’s teacher-scholar model. I am committed to serving in a fair, reasonable and supportive fashion.
I am grateful for the opportunities provided to me to advocate on behalf of faculty, and to contribute to our institution. I have experience in undergraduate and graduate education, both in traditional as well as online courses. I currently serve as the Director for the Doctor of Public Administration program. Previously I served as the Vice President for our local WCU APSCUF Chapter and the former TeP appointee on the Promotion and Tenure Workshop Committee (PTW), both from 2016-2020. I served on TeP from 2014-2016 and again from 2020-2026. I have served as an evaluation committee chair and member for over five different departments during my time here at WCU.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
