Nancy Barker

Department: Nursing

I have been fortunate to serve as a nursing faculty member at WCU for nearly a decade, and during this time I have seen firsthand how essential navigating the tenure and promotion process are to faculty success. I have both benefited from mentorship and had the privilege of mentoring colleagues through this process, which has given me a deep understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and stresses it can bring. By serving on the committee, I am committed to ensuring a fair and supportive review process that helps faculty thrive and strengthens our academic community.
